Can someone describe to me what the factory original floor mats for a 2005 Limited are like? Mine has thin (but durable) solid plastic mats for the driver, passenger, and second row of seating. The mats have no carpeting at all - just solid plastic. Are these the factory mats, or aftermarket? The reason I'm asking is the place I bought mine from said that they will buy me a set of factory original floor mats if the ones I have aren't. I'm just thinking the original ones had to have some carpeting on them, but I could be wrong.

Factory, standard mats are carpeted for all three rows.
You'll know they are factory ones because they are way too small. Ford: cheap #$@%%@$#'s

Factory mats match the carpet exactly. I personally never thought they were too small.
The front has regular carpet mats and the second row has one long mat that goes across the whole row. The third row did not get a mat.

My Ford-accessory front floor mats also have "Excursion" embroidered on them along the edge closest to the door ... in the same font / script as the exterior badges. And yes, they match the carpet. |

When I bought my mats at the dealer, the third row mat was sold as a separate piece. |

ive been encountering the same problem. i just wanna know where to buy a new carpet. any help will do. |
