I'm looking for a general maintenance manual for my 2005 X. I usually use Haynes, but it doesn't look like they have one for it. What are y'all using?
Thanks,
Ted |

Every now and then ebay will have a listing for a complete set of service manuals. I believe I paid 45 or 50 bucks for a complete set a few months ago.
Good Luck!

I got mine from the same place Ford gets them ... www.helminc.com I sold the set for my '01 on eBay, so you could check there. And since the X is a few years old, the prices at Helm, Inc. should be lower now. You may also find some pirated CD versions on eBay, and while they're complete, I prefer to navigate through a hardcopy manual versus going up & down a menu via PC ... and I dislike using my laptop in the garage except for tuning my car's engine & transmission management systems.
I've never been impressed with the Chilton's or Haynes manuals. For a few dollars more, get the real stuff. Heck! I've even found a couple errors in the factory manuals. |
