Hey guys--have an 01 V-10 which I suspect has water in the gas. I had a quarter of a tank and went to a BJ's to fill up. It had rained heavily for 3 days. When I pulled in I noticed that they had the area where the tank couplers roped off. I didn't think about it as a problem. Went on a trip and as soon as that quarter of a tank was gone, it started acting like it was running on 6 cylinders. Rough idle, sny type load ie going up a hill you can hear the rear end vibrate as if even constant power is not being delivered. I put in 4 bottles of a drying agent-160z each SeaFoam, 8 oz Lucas injector cleaner and upper engine lubricant. I even put 5 gallons of 110 octane racing fuel in. No luck. Suggestions?

Thanks

David

I would start by draining the fuel and changing the filter. I would then put about 10 gallons of known good fuel and 1/2 a bottle of iso. And see if it clears up. If you drain your fuel into a clear container you will see the water for sure if its there. Just make sure you get all the fuel / water out of your tank before refilling with the 10 gallons of good fuel.

Hope this helps.

I'd rather be in the boat with a drink on the rocks then in the drink with the boat on the rocks.... But either way theres gonna be a good story!!!
