Hey All! Been a while we still have the '02 Ex limited. Wife's daily driver. She wants to put a large all terrain tire wheel combo (ie: 33x12.5/18 ) or so. These 2wd's are soo low, Lol.

Any idea how large we can go w/out a lift? Also considering a lift kit but so little info on lifted 2x4. I read that 2wd superduties will work. Also some say they will give extra lift on the Ex, some say less lift.

Looking for any & all info!

Thanks, Greg

You can level it out with front springs from an F-350 diesel truck or use Daystar spring spacers. Either one will require an alignment.

Rancho makes two different lifts "size" for 2WD trucks. The 6" makes for a really nice looking truck!

If you head over to ford-trucks.com, there are a few fellow 2WD owners with Rancho lifts.

Depending on the true size, those 33's should work but you may get rubbing at full lock due to the width of the wheel. They'll definitely fill up the wheel well! I have 285/55R20 and it (to me) is a perfect fit in the front...as far as wheel to wheel well opening ratio is concerned.
