I've followed the thread over at ford-trucks.com
(http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/425399-got-my-new-tailights-in-so-cool.html)
but cannot wrap my head around it. It could be that it is early Sunday morning... I want to wire it so that the amber part doesn't glow when the parking lights are on. It seems that taking the feed from where Matt describes in the thread above, the ambers would light up.

Seems CHP has been AWOL awhile.
If I were attempting the 3-light rear lens ...
- reverse lights wire up the same
- I'd run wires from the front turn or mirror-mounted turn signals for the rear amber lens (no brake signal input)
- and I'd run a wire from the CHMSL for the brake lights (no turn signal input) |

That's what I thought. thanks for the clarification. He did respond to my post about it over at ford-trucks.com. But the "instructions" really confused me. You have a good way of explaining it.

| Quote: | You have a good way of explaining it. | Thanks! You know, someone (preferably someone located stateside) could probably earn a few extra $$$ if they were to assemble and offer a kit that included new FOMOCO light assemblies, an appropriate amount of wire (preferably color coordinated with the X's wiring harnesses), some of those quick-clip connectors, and an extensive, easy to understand set of instructions. Could probably sell a few via eBay.
I don't have time to develop such a kit. Anyone else out there want to attempt it? I'd buy one.
