my '00 limited doesn't have auto lights, one day the headlights don't come on and the brights indicator stays on the dash. No low or high beams. All other lights work. I had the switch checked last year for the recall but it's ok. Also the 30a and both 10a fuses under the hood are fine. Has anyone had this problem.

Buy a cheap bulb and try it. That should at least eliminate that as a possibility.

I would suspect the multi-function switch is bad (the turn signal stalk) OR there's a wiring problem in the steering column. Either way sounds like you're gonna need a test light and/or multimeter.

Please let us know how what the fix is!

Sorry it took me so long to follow up. The problem was corrosion at both connectors where the bulbs plug in. I bought new bulbs then found the contacts were very corroded. I cleaned the connectors and now the lights work. I ended up using the new bulbs, they're noticeably brighter than the old ones.
