Anyone out there know of a modification, short of completely replacing the stereo system, for after market addition of iPods or mp3 players? My searching has shown me no after market that works in the factory excursion sound system (2005 EB, 6 CD changer) Thanks

Thought sure there was a pricey adapter out there so that you could hard wire one for use rather than using a modulator...
Where have you been searching? Did you try www.ford-trucks.com as well?

In my '01 X, the stereo "ate" a couple CDs, and of course it did so during the 100 mile drive to trade it in towards my '05 X (would not spit them out). So, in lieu of inserting my better CDs in the changer, I have resolved to burning my own CD-R's, and play those. Granted, it's not an iPod with 8GB of memory, but the results are basically the same. |
