I'm looking at two trucks.
One is a 2001 SD Crew Cab, PSD, 2WD Lariat.
The other is a 2000 Excursion XLT, V10. (Just like mine but white.)
The Ex is more my style. I'm not really into leather. (Although I hear "Mr. Rotton Dog" is...  )
So, I'm trying to figure values but the two main value sites never match up. Kelly always seems to be higher. Should I average to two or do you think one is more accurate than the other?

Forget KBB and Edmunds! What you need is the FordExcursions.com price guide!  Just enter the details into the appropriate screen and in minutes you will have all the information you need to make an informed buying decision.
Seriously, what are the specifics? And why would you want to trade your X for another similar model? Just curious.

I look for the steal prices, I bought my 01' X for 24k with 19k miles its loaded with V-10 but no leather or dvd. Shopped a good month for that though. I want to install DVD any suggestions. Thanks. Oh ya, I also didn't pay sales tax buying out of state and bringing into Ca, but you have to wait atleast 90 days to register and tellem you just brought it in, But check your local laws. |

It's an XLT with the Comfort and Convenience Package.
I was actually looking at it as an ADDITION to the family! 
My truck will not be here when my family finally arrives and I need to haul them around. Plus, I think I can steal it.
They are "asking" $26,460 for it & it has 40K+ miles on it. Hell, I bought mine in '01 with 30K and got it for 23,800. So I was think about 18K should do it for this one.
