2001 4x4 Limited diesel Excursion for sale....around 255K miles...needs minor repairs...$6,900 cash
I bought used at 104K miles in Houston, and prior owner had Ford Factory rebuilt motor installed at 89K miles..(sticker visible on pass side of motor)
white with tan below
Michelin oversized tires
rebuilt turbo last year due to turbo chatter problems
replaced all brass injector cups and all o-rings last year
all 6 rear end bearings replaced at around 150K
new radiator last summer
front hub assemblies replaced at around 170K
has Warn manual front hub locks - not factory vacuum any longer
has rear sway bar
has Bilstien shocks all around
has Landyot Radius Rods installed
V-code front leaf springs
Timbren tow leveler blocks installed at rear springs
Large hvy duty black grill guard and bumper
aftermarket SuperDuty Ford pickup grill with clear driving/signal lenses for updated look
leather, front and rear very cold air
running boards removed but still have them
Exterior looks great, no rust, dings, scraps, dents....Interior needs detailing.
needs the following:
heater core leaks
turbo exhaust flapper sticks - hard to start cold -white smoke and rough run then fine after warmup
did have fuel in coolant so needs coolant and distilled water replaced with anit-cavitation additive
needs 2 battteries
I'm not a mechanic and all previous work was done by a qualified mechanic on this truck.
I have not driven this truck much since gas prices went up last summer and I bought a used Lexus to drive back and forth to work in Dallas.
NOt a hot rodded or abused truck...just daily personal driver for 50+ yr old guy. Have hauled some const materials in the back while building a cabin in far west TX over the last 3 years, so needs new rear carpet for perfect look here, but overall has been a great truck for me.
