Yes. I was born in Honolulu & lived on the North SHore of Oahu.
I met my wife while serving in the 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks, HI. She is from Fitchburg, MA. I thought that it would be neat to live on the mainland. It [i]was[/i] for the first month.  It took me 7 years and 3 more children to finally get back here!

Florida is nice too! Can get a bit humid for me.
I believe everone should visit Hawaii at least once in their life. Tickets right now (roundtrip from Boston to Honolulu) are only $560 +/-. That's a heck of a deal! With a little help from a local (me) you can easily see most of Hawaii on a small budget.
