What happend to my horn.

I was doing some work on my ex. I pressed my horn,and it didnt work.I checked all the fuses, all were good.But when I press my alarm the horn goes off.I dont understand whats wronge here.Can you help

Start by clipping a meter to the horn and see if it gets power. Go from there.

I had a horn problem on my former X (on my ex-X), a 2001 Limited V10 4WD. The horn would blow only with the engine off, but not when it was running. The cruise control also stopped working. The dealer replaced my GEM to remedy both problems.
