For those of you needing to by tires, I recommend the Michelin LTX/MS/2. The lettering now is just "MICHELIN"--I like the old lettering better. I can now hit rough areas and they dampen vibration like crazy. They're quieter than the originals as well. |

What is the load rating on them?
I have to run at least C's but prefer D's for towing reasons |

While the Excursion was originally specified with "D" rated tires, Ford has since recalled those, and now specifies "E" rated tires.

I couldn't imagine anything less than an "E" rated tire on such a heavy vehicle. I've always had good results with Michelin's for all of my vehicles. |

I believe they are E rated. I'll double check and if not correct, I'll post right class. |
