Over the weekend I installed new upper and lower ball joints on my 4x4 Excursion. I want to say first of all getting the old ones out of the arms was not fun. But they pressed out with no problem on the work bench. Installation and reassembly was a breeze. I went with the greaseable MOOG brand. Any body know how much this would have cost to have a mechanic have done it? I replaced all four with about 9 hours of hands on labor. Either way it got rid of the clunk when you hit the brakes and tightened the steering up a little more. Still waiting on a set of LANDYOTS!! Hope Landyot starts making them again soon?

Flat rate time is 5.0 hours. Hourly rate varies so do the math!
