Ok guys, I had a chance to upgrade my lights to projectors awhile back and this weekend decided to upgrade to a true HID light. this is for the wifes 250. But the lights were robbed for my X last year. Now that she has lights, I can order up some for my X

The lights I used are 3 kits from http://www.futurevisionhid.com/

These guys rock with their product ans customer service

Here we are with the lights loose. Don't mind all the extra wiring. Those are the strobes in the housing as well.

Once you open the covers you will notice the clips holding in the H-1 bulbs

For this casing, we are going to remove the plug and rubber grommet

Going with a direct wire for this one. The sockets suck on these trucks and will rot out after time.

After you solder and shrink wrap the wires. Ya can go ahead and tuck them back into the loom.

You will need to pull the clips on the high beam side. It's going to require a little trimming to get the bulbs to fit.

Hit it with a file on the tabs and it will slip right in.

Take the rubber boot and make a slice in it for the new wires.

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g290/kingsuv/truck%20pics/017-2.jpg

Run the wires through and clip in the bulb.

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g290/kingsuv/truck%20pics/018-2.jpg

Repeat the same for the highs.

I went ahead and used the supplied double sided tape to stack both ballasts together. Then wire tied the leads together.

Once you plug in all the connections, your set to go. before you remount the lenses, make sure they are working and are turning on the right bulb.

Bill - Any chance you can make the links display the images? The photos are not displaying in the thread. I looked at a few of the pix, but copy/paste the addresses got old fast. The results do look impressive. How are you liking the lights so far?

Sorry for the links.

The lights are great. I am very happy with them.

I am currently in Vegas at CES and it was a 9 hour drive in the fog and the lights work like a champ. The projectors have a nice cut off line, even though the right one needs a little bit of an adjustment.

For the most part, with just the projectors, I don't have many people flashing me, Or at least not anymore then with out the HID's

The fogs on the other hand, will draw some attention And the high beams will give you a tan
