Hi Guys, I'm looking to put some 20" wheels that came off a Ford Harley Truck. My concern is that it may change how my Excursion rides. Will it be better or worse? I do pull a 30" travel trailer when I go camping with my wife and 2 kids. Will it cause any isses when I'm pulling the trailer? Anybody riding 20s that could answer these questions would help me with my decision, thx

I installed 20" Ford King Ranch wheels on my '05 V10 4WD with 3.73 axle gears. You will find that the larger diameter tires hurt your towing and general acceration because it's like installing taller gears. If you have 4.10 gears in your axle(s), then you should be OK.

After installing the 20s, I was almost ready to get rid of my 16" OEM wheels, but decided to keep them. Whenever I sell the X, I'll put the 16" wheels back on & sell the 20s separate.
