Are the dome light switches built into the door latch assembly on a 2000? I dont see any switches in the door jambs or on the doors? All my doors turn on the dome lights except the right rear door.Any ideas?

All of the switches (6 of them total, 2 on the rear liftgate) are integrated with the latch mechanisms, and are accessed from INSIDE each door. Unless you're a contortionist, they're a PITA to get to in the side doors. I replaced all of them on my 2001 LTD because they'd fail and turn on the lights when the doors were closed. I replaced them with later model switches. FWIW, I've had no door switch problems with my 2005 EB.
