Brought this subject up before and came to the conclusion that this would be one pain in the ass job to try to do even if it could be done.So figured if the rear is higher than the front maybe i could just drop the rear to try and fill up the wells a little bit and put in larger rims to get the look i want. so my question now is how much should i drop in the rear to get that even look and also what about drive angles and how can you adjust for that?

Very strange request!

Why don't you just go find 2WD?

Anyway...Measure the height differences front to rear. Only you can really determine how much to drop the back. I'd say about 2-3 inches though. How do plan on doing it? Remove some springs? New springs?

It will not affect your driveline angles by going down. I wouldn't really worry about it. The driveline can operate "properly" with the truck frame axle resting on top of the axle.

Jimmybigrig, I guess I'm "STRANGE" too , as I would like my "X" lowered in the rear. I did crawl under and look at a metal spacer, under the springs, that may be removed to give a 2-3 inch drop. It has an arm off to either side that catches the stop and also the "U" bolts will have to have added threads, spacers, or shorter "U's" to make it work. This is what I think, as I've only looked, and have not attempted the work. Airbags are not an option for me. Let me know what you come up with and I hope this helped a little.

well everyone here already thinks i'm cooked in the head so why not you guys ya see i have a no boundaries model all black and bigger lugged tires is not the look i,m going for. the rear reminds me of the 90's ram's nice truck to look at but the tires were waay to small for that truck same with ours, tires and rims to small for the wells ( front not bad ) buy lowering the rear a little and putting on bigger rims i might get the look i'm going for. as for 2wd ......what are you nuts it might rain and have to shift her into 4 low haha.
