I went to Alloy Tech's website in search of some info on their grill guards, and at the time there were offering the guards at a 100 dollar discount with free shipping, so I'm thinking COOL I'll snap one up so I call Aaron at AT and place a order for one guard, he informed me that it will be shipped within 10 days because they were in the process of moving to a new shop and he would call me when the order was shipped,and the reason for the 100 dollar discount was that he had (10) F-series grill guards that he did not want to lug over to his new location.
Well,a week or two later (4/11/03 to be exact) I notice a charge on my VISA for the total cost of the grill guard so I think its on its way, a week goes by and I don't hear anything from Aaron so I call and leave a message on his voicemail but I get no reply,so after a few more calls I finally catch up with Aaron and he tells me that things have been hectic and he should be shipping the orders within a week,OK I say and hang up,well today is 5/9/03 and I have not heard from Aaron or received my grill guard, I understand that he is the only person carrying this particular guard,BUT DAMN!
I guess I would not have cared if my card was not charged, but when I pay for something I expect my merchandise, this is just a little heads up for anyone interested.

Tonka, what he did is also illegal. You would have the state Attorney General on your side if you called them and told them you have been charged for something not delivered. That is called fraud and is very illegal. Don't mean to sound harsh, but the next time you talk to him - if you can ever find him - you might mention that charging but not shipping is illegal.
My wife just went through a similar experience buying some kitchen gadget she saw - lots less money than your grill - but took her several phone calls over a couple of months to get her stuff. It finally arrived a few days ago, but the next call would have been to the attorney general.

I got a call from Aaron's wife yesterday, she stated that she was sorry for the delay and the grill guard was on its way  ,to say I was a tad skeptical would be a understatement,all in all this transaction has been a fiasco and definitely not a good way to run a business for Alloy Tech.
