Silly question probably, but nonetheless. I have a burned out bulb on my front passager side running board. I can't find mention of its replacement in my manuals. It seems the bulb unit comes out from underneath. It did not seem to be setup for prying the clear plastic top cover off. Any ideas on this? Does the replacement come as a whole unit that snaps back on from underneath, or is it simple a bulb? Thanks for any thoughts.

Remove the bolts that are on the bracket covering the light socket .Then twist to remove the socket and replace light. Bulb # 194 I found mine on ebay LED type in ford blue. FYI Front marker lens, license plate, front doors, and glove box have the same bulbs. easy change out.

Thanks Bill,
By socket, do you mean the round piece that the wiring is attached to on one end, and goes into the light area on the other? If so, is it a left hand turn thread to unscrew? Thanks for your help, just don't want to break something.

From what I recall It's a 1/4 turn counter clockwise It's a simple twist in and out with a rubber gasket to seal it. It worked for me so it must be fool proof
