I have a 2004 PSD with 140K miles (rebuilt Jasper @ 100K)
4" lift, Western Snowplow for personal use (a small lot and a few driveways)
Chipped motor, air intake and exhaust. Impecably maintained by Diesel experts
My probem is the front end is pulling to the hard left when braking - but not all the time - seems after driving for a bit (15mins maybe?) -
Changed EVRYTHING in the brake system. Pads, Rotors, Calipers, hoses etc on all 4 wheels.
Vehicle periodically pulls hard left during braking. Usually after I drive it 10 minutes - but not all the time. Sometimes never, sometimes all the time. After changing absulutly everything in the brakes system I could think of - I learned about the Hydroboost on the diesel so I had the Power Steering Pump changed - which was the last item on my list - didn't fix it.
Anybody? |

Had exactly the same problem, Sometimes didn't happen sometimes happened all the time. My 2001 gas v10 had new pads and rotors put all round. Thought it was fixed but sure enough happened again. Calipers were changed, still same problem. Changed front pads for a second set (same brand) problem solved! Was told inner left pad was glazed/grooved and even after new caliper was installed was sticking. If you changed calipers after new pads were tried maybe trying new pads?? Good luck as l know how annoying and nerve wracking this can be. |
