Hi there, are there any australians in this forum? If so, please answer to this thread. I'm from germany and I would like to know if Excursions are cars that are looked after in australia...Because I saw that some are sold at around 80-90 grand $. Is it a popular car down under, and is it hard to get one?

Many greetings

Hi Razorback,
I'm an Aussie living in the USA. All Excursions in Australia have been imported privately LHDrive from the US then converted to RHDrive. Ford never sold them in Australia. That explains the price when you buy the vehicle here, ship, pay Australian taxes and duties, convert the dollar then convert to RHDrive (usually around the 25k mark). With Gas in Australia much more expensive than here, around $5 dollars a gallon they were never popular. Hope this helps
