Hi Sask50, don't know if you got my post from before, but I want to install a Taurus seat setup in my car this weekendand was wondering if you could show us a template of sorts to make it a little easier.
Thanks, Bill Fox

I will try to help you out as I had SHO seats in my Chero. Basically you will need to just line everything up. Yank your seats and put the new ones in to get a good idea, you will have to check the seat track distance to make sure there is room for you to adjust them. If you are putting a console in it you will need the brackets from the Taurus that are bolted to the hump this will give you the secure fit. Most likely your seats are not going to match up correctly with the original holes in the floor so you will have to drill new holes in the floor pans for the seats to fit. You are also going to need washers between the seats and bolts on the bottom, so they sit level as the Taurus brackets are on an angle. I used self tapping screws to secure the console to the hump and everything worked great. Here is a link and look in Bills cars to see pics of how they turned out. If they are power simply run a power and ground to them and if they are mixed up your seats will merely work backwards and change the leads.

you can search beefcake.net to find the other message board as I have to get the url again. Hope this helps. |

Bill, I hope you got my mail, I know it took too long, sorry. Did those seemingly hokey instructions work? |
