Want to know if I can swap my regular hood on my 1975 Ranchero Squire with a GT hood from a 1972 Gran Torino? Can I bolt it directly on or will it have to be modified or is it just wishful thinking??
Thanks,
Tom |

Sorry dude, 72 front clip is a one year only deal. If you don't have a 72 the hood fenders etc...aren't going to do you any good. sorry

Sarah,
Thanks for the info, it is going to be an all or nothing deal. Got to find an entire front clip and bolt it on to my 75. I had a lead on a pair of 72's in a junk yard right there in the Springs, but I had to go overseas for the military for awhile and when I got back they had been crushed. What a waste...one had a GT hood and a 351C 4V, the other a decent front bumper, grill and a 351C 2V. I should have bought them both just for the great front clip the two would have gotten me.
Just picked up a 69 Cougar convertible, hope to see you down at Grocery Warehouse on Powers Blvd next summer.

Yeah, dude, actually it was 3 72's and they guy offered them to me for 1000.00 at the time I didn't have the dough or the place to put them, he kept the GT hood and the bumpers, the rest went bye bye
Have you seen my truck?...I've done 23 shows around here. We didn't do cruise night but once this year. By the time the show's over, we are toast from the sunshine. I sure am glad to hear another made it home.
Now have you checked out at Webb's junk yard he has some...Email me if you want my # [email protected]...
