I am putting my fathers 1969 Ranchero RIO GRANDE! up for sale if my research is correct there were less then 800 Rio Grandes produced in 69 of those 0nly about 10% were ordered with the big block motors this truck came stock with a 390 aside from paint and rear air shocks i believe this truck is bone stock.
80k original miles STRONG 390 working hood scoop with390 decals on side of scoop but were removed for paint? with signal indicators in scoop automatic trans. factory bed rails (and i believe factory bed cover but not sure) complete rims and beauty rings clock in instrument cluster.
This is a project truck the interior need some work engine has not been started in 5 years the hardest fix would be the pass rear quater my brother ran into some steps and "crunched" the light assembly the rest of the body is pretty good but my father did not garge it so there are loose pannels (at the bottom) I have garaged it for the last 15+ years so no further damage would occur.
This Ranchero would be a good project to restore to original depending on the shop.
I personaly would like to restore this truck to original but do to faimly disagrements I have to sell.
I was with my father when he bought this truck used in 1972 or 73.
Please no parting out I have had offers on various parts but I really think this truck deserves a second life. I will post photos as soon as I can If interested you can email me.
