My local dragstrip has "Street Legal Drags" every friday nite; best time so far is 14.50 @ 93.39. Car weighed 4315 pounds that nite.

In front, I installed 18x7" Coy's C5, polished, with 4" backspacing, and Nexen 3000 225/40-ZR18 tires.

In the rear, I installed 20X8.5" Coy's C5 polished wheels, 4" back spacing. Could easily go larger...lots of room under there yet!

I heated the rear coils to lower the car 3" in the rear; it looked great but it ruined the ride, so I replaced them with stock rear coils.

I used the block out of the engine from my 'wrecked' '73 500, which was an "H code" 351 Cleveland 2 barrel; even though its not a 4 barrel/4 bolt block, the date code matches this car's production date pretty close; its never been rebuilt, so it will...

this was the engine I pulled out of the GT; its a 1971 351 Cleveland 2 Bbl with a C6 tranny; I'm going to re-use the C6, but the block is already bored .030" over, so it will get shelved for a future project

This is the block I am going to use to build the 393 stroker; its a 1973 "H code" Cleveland 351 2 Bbl out of my '73 Ranchero 500. Its got 165,000 miles on it, but never been rebuilt!
