I'm going to replace it with a wide-ratio 6-pinion planetary out of Ford E40D 4 speed trans, to improve durability and lower my 1st gear ratio 10% to 2.71 & 2nd gear 5% ... (Posted in: Transmission)

the square bolt and jamb nut is the intermediate band adjustment screw.

another 5 hours to do the shift kit/valve body modifications;
and about 12 hours to re-assemble it.
