The story
I purchased Doree from Desert Classics in Montana , in July 2014, and had her shipped here to Middleburg, Florida, (just South of Jacksonville). She was in a junkyard in Idaho so she has very little rust on her. She had a topper on her too, Now removed and for sale. She is complete. Nothing has been taken off of her. Last time she was "tagged" was 1995. Idaho tag was still on her. Second day here found spark plug wires were crossed. Set the plug wires right, poured a little gas in the carb and she cranked up. Smoked like crazy burning 19 years of "sitting around" off the motor. Slight knock. Everything works! A/C was still charged, although I couldn't get it to kick on. Maybe low on Freon. Stated taking her apart for a full "off frame" rebuild. At 65, my last Hurrah. — Super28
