I can't be the only one here to own a Probe! I've got a 90 LX that I put the engine from my wrecked 89 GL in. It made for a fun summer project to say the least since it involved swapping the entire wiring harness from the 89 into the 90 along with just about everything else! I know a lot of people laugh at Probes, but they are really well designed, easy to work on cars that have good reliability. They make fun drivers and since they are abundant, parts are easy to come by in the junkyards. I also have an Explorer so please don't make fun of me too bad. |

Hey!! I own a 90 model PROBE GL 2.2L auto. They get great gas mileage too. And there fun to drive!!!  |

My first car was a brand new '89 GL. I got it with 14 miles on the odometer. Had it for 7 years and sold it with 180K. The people that bought it still drive it and say that it is the best car they have ever had. I think the last time I saw them they had well over 300K on it. In the 7 years and 180,000 miles of owning it I never had any problems, the only complaint I had was all the tires I had to put on it because it was so much fun to drive as fast as it would go!!!!  |
