Does anyone know the factory code for the keypad of a 2001 Crown Vic??? Is it on the car somewhere? I can't find it and I need to set my onw code incase I get locked out, i just bought the car and have no idea where to look for the code.......yes, i looked in the manual.....just told me i need to type in the code first.....well i don't know it......any help out there?? Thanks

Kyle, they used to put a silver colored sticker about 1"x 1/4" with the code printed in black on the trunk hinge. My 1996 Vic has one. My 2002 has a white plastic card with the number printed on it in the owner's manual. I don't know where else to tell you to look. It may require a trip to a Ford dealer who may be able to pull the code from your OBD computer. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

kyle as the man said look on the hinge in the trunk and the programming of the new code just follow the instructions in the owners man. your orginal code from the factory is always there and it does explain that in the manuel also kyle question on the picture where did you get those rims not to bad looking ive got a 2002 merc grand marque am looking to get different rims have looked at the vogue tyre line from cad(GM) they have great looking setups but the price is out of site for the poor man those do look good
