so i was tightening the bolts on my valve covers when i found this weird stuff in and on my driver's side cat. i'm pretty sure that the same stuff is on the passenger side. take a look at the pictures
this is some stuff that i pulled out and threw away

How's it going,had the same problem last year after the big blizzard that hit last winter,theyover did it with the road salt here in nyc and I kept finding the same stuff,dissappeard once the thaw out began,good luck.
