Seemed like I read a post somewhere last year that said Tire Racks had stock-type steel wheels for C-V and G-M, they do not appear to carry them now nor do any of the other on-line sources for steel wheels. I want a set for my G.M., anybody got an idea where to check?

FYI to anyone who visits this thread:
Thanks to Embassy Vic for the advice and the contact!
I found a local Tire Supplier here in Western N.Y. that had the 16 X 7 Steelies for '99 GM/Crown Vic - new wheels (identical to factory wheels) at $60 each. Most of the local salvage yards were asking $40-45 for used wheels so I went for the new ones. They have a nice coat of black paint just like factory wheels - now I can wear-out my old tires and have the new ones for trips! |
