hey guys im new here. i got a 91 crown vic that i got for real cheap and its in mint condition. i like it but it cant do burnouts and its real sluggish. so i was wondering if the newer vics can burnout nice since there not as heavy and have more hp. i like the body style of the 92's and up, and i want to find one with a police package. would this have more power to burnout and accelerate faster? do you know of anyplace that has some retired p71's? thanx

Here's two well-known dealers:

I have heard good things from those who have purchased Vics from both dealers. I went with my friend to get a Police Interceptor from KC Motor Vehicles. There are some pics of the trip posted on my superford.org page.

You might also want to contact your local police departments and the state department of transportation to ask then when and where they have their auctions.

Finally check out:

Government-owned Police Interceptors, like mine, are typically better taken care of than ones owned by police departments.

If that '91 is in really good condition, I would just keep it and modify it. Unless it is a 351, then most of the 5.0L Mustang engine parts will bolt up.
