When I was younger my first car that I bought was a 84 Volvo 240 turbo (automatic) for $300.00 CAD. I street raced my brother in his 1989 Honda Prelude and we we tide! his car had 120000 miles on it and my Volvo had 296000 miles on the original motor and trany! Then I bought a 1991 Volvo 740 turbo and blew away a 1999 Acura Integra. For a heavy four door family car don't under estimate the performance of a turbo charged Volvo because I did and so did everyone else I beat in street races! Its one of the only four door family cars with an automatic trany I have ever driven that can do dounuts on dry pavement. It may be hard to believe but its true! |
