2G Alternator on a '92 F150 5.0L
'93-up have a 3G alternator. All 2Gs are fire hazards, despite the TSB below. They should all be upgraded to 3G, and it's nearly a PnP swap.

Install the bottom mount on the shock. If you are installing Rancho RS9000's or any other type of adjustable shock, make sure you mount your dials appropriately where you can reach them from underneath the vehicle. I kept mine facing the rear.

Rare self-locking hub nut used in the late '80s. Its locking tooth in the center often gets bent inward by improper installation or removal. Make sure it protrudes enough to fully engage the slot on the spindle. If not, it will work its way loose....

If the rotors (BRR56 / BRR207) are heavily scored or lipped, it will be necessary to compress the caliper with a prybar before swinging the caliper & pads off the rotor.
