The 1982–1991 Box Panther Grand Marquis shows up here in every stage of life — from a clean silver sedan parked lakeside to a dark blue '85 half-covered under a tarp, a stripped-down chassis getting rebuilt in a garage, and even one being winched out of a ditch. You'll find police units lined up with hoods popped, proud owners posing with their boxy sedans at night, and a beautiful '85 sitting outside a classic Ford dealership flanked by vintage gas pumps.
The story
The Grand Marquis is Oxford White and grey. The engine is a rebuilt 88 Lincoln Town Car 5.0 liter. At some point the original hubcaps were lost and have been replaced with 2000 Grand Marquis faux wire wheel covers. Overall this car is wonderful to drive, but I sure wish it had built in cupholders :-) — Ron Zimmerman
