The story
this car was a trophy winner that we bought from a divorce sale. it had been restored by a friend of ours for the previous owner and the wife got it in the divorce. she had left it sit for 8 years and had not even started it! we got it cheap because of the seized engine and re-restored the car. the car had to be repainted after it was rear ended by two blonde girls in a corvette. they were gawking at the car and didn't notice it was stopped! DUH! it was due for paint anyway due to the age crazing and cracks so it was stripped and completely refinished. the car was awarded the city council award at Hot August Nights in Reno a few years ago as well as numerous less pretigious honors. i sold the car about 4 years ago when my wife and i decided to have kids. — Tom Cherry AKA Hawkrod
