The Aero Panther Crown Victoria community here runs deep — from blacked-out 2003 models sporting aftermarket hood scoops, push bars, and custom wheels to garage builds where mechanics are elbows-deep in the engine bay. You'll find everything from street-driven personal cars with red brake calipers and custom bumpers to retired interceptor-style setups complete with spotlights, all documented by the owners who built them.
The story
Car was originally a police cruiser in Cockeysville, MD. Retired from police service at 33,000 miles. My buddy bought it from an auction and drove it for a year. I bought it less than two years old with 49,000 miles.
Since then, I have added a Blaupunkt stereo, a Stewart Products under-dash console, a scanner, a GMRS radio, tint to the rear windows, 17" Mustang Bullitt rims with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires, 2001 honeycomb grille, black bumper inserts.... And a lot more! :-) — Erin Ward
