06 p71 rough idle

I have a 06 p71 detectives car I bought a month ago 130k miles 2k idle hours I'm having an issue with the idle it's almost like its missing you can see the Rpms go up and down, weird thing is this happened after an air filter change..I'm not sure if the plugs have ever been changed in it or anything like that..any suggestions?

what kind of filter?
Make sure the MAF is clean and the airbox is sealed.
