The title says it all. I recently bought a 1987 Thunderbird, and it needs some parts pretty bad, but I can't seem to find parts anywhere. I havent really found any in any junk yards either. I can find a few basics (like head panels, bumper, etc) but I want some aftermarket parts too. Anybody know where i can find some retailers or anything like that?

Heres a quick helper for parts locating........car-part.com. I have an 85 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. You wanna talk about hard to find parts..............I got the car for them. But luckily I have been able to find many parts through that parts finder. The best I can say is give her a shot, you might be surprised. Let me know if it helped.

What sort of 87 T-Bird Parts are you looking for?
I just bought a Turbo Hood. Some Interior panels, door & 1/4 trim, a TC rear sway bar. . . . There are plenty around here, or atleast there have been so far. . . . .

I put a lot of 87 - 88 stuff in my 85's I know of 3 salvage yards, and a "U-Pull-It" yard near me that have a good selection, usually FBp

Dude you gimme a way to get ahold of you so I can check into those yards. I need some parts for my TC. Doors, I'd like a vented hood, intercooler, discbrake rearend......but the doors and interior panels are a must. My E-mail is [email protected]. Get in touch with me so I can plan a road trip to get some parts.

Pull up this website and look at the message boards along with the stock/modified section.

What all parts do you need for your TC? I just picked up another one and am parting it out since it ain't got a title. I only need a couple parts for mine which leaves me a bunch of extra stuff. If you want to see what all I got, mail me at [email protected] and tell me what you need then we can see what we can arrange.
