Hello all,
I'm new to the forum. I hope to get some advice here regarding a heating cooling issue. Last year I started to get a squeal while the engine is running. I noticed that when making different selections on the EATC the sound would change or stop on certain settings. I read about the o ring repair to the EATC and I just performed that the other day and the problem is lessened but did not stop. Any suggestions on where I should look next. This is a vacuum leak under the dash only heard in the cabin. The squeal is present with the EATC in the off position as well and stops when I select the floor /def button. Most other selections on the EATC have the squeal. I should note the EATC functions normally otherwise and there are no error codes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
