Just now signed up and hopefully can use the info provided here by all of you folks who know your way around a crown vic. I have a 1998 LX model. My profession is as a jet engine mechanic with the federal civil service on the KC-135 tanker planes. I know how to work on those engines. But other than the basic tune-up things, when it comes to a car engine, as I tell most folks, if it doesn't have a turbine in it, I'm lost...LOL.

Your profession is a profession that is awesome, I'm very interested in having that profession but until now that hope has not been realized.
