Hi everyone,

I have a 2004 CV PI that has been doing good up until 3 weeks ago, it started dying and throwing a P1233 code. After dying it would sometimes be hard to start unless you went all the way off with the key switch then back on. I have tried another Fuel Pump Driver Module but the car still dies after you exit the drivers seat. It never did this in the several months of ownership, but I was wondering, did any police departments ever install a kill switch in the drivers seat to shut down the fuel pump and thus kill the car when the officer exited the vehicle? Or do I possibly have a short in the wiring harness that runs beside the drivers seat? Any opinions welcome.
