Hood Clearance for 78 500

New member, old fan of Rancheros. Quick question, I have a modified 302 with GT40P heads, GT40 upper and lower intake, and mass air (of course with the afore mentioned parts). I also just happen to have a 1978 Ranchero 500. Bone stock. I plan to drop my modified 302 in the hole but would like to know if anyone has been down that road and if so was there a hood clearance problem? I\\'m not willing to cut the hood. If I have to I\\'ll just sell the GT40 intakes and throw a 4bbl on there.
