I recently replaced the driver window regulator and motor on my 1999 ford crown victoria, after installing the new regulator and motor, when pushing the down auto button the motor will keep rolling even when the window reaches the lowest position, when pushing the up button the window motor will also keep rolling after the window has hit the highest position, this will eventually lead to breaking the cable.
at some point I did jump start the car.
any ideas of why this is happening ?
thanks in advance
