Good day,
I have experienced intermittent starting failure on my '97 CV 4.6L.

Occasionally, When I turn the key in the ignition to start, I get nothing. There is current draw as i notice the dash lights dim, but no started click or turnover. If I wait a few minutes and try again, it will start just fine. I have checked most electrical connections, all fuses, and cleaned the battery terminals. The fact that the engine will start normally tells me that the problem is an irregular and erratic one.
Has anybody experienced similar? if so, what should I be looking at? Thanks in advance,
chardagha

take the starter out clean all the connections and put it back or get a rebuilt one ...or whack it with a tire iron ...it's the starter solenoid go online and start looking at diagrams of what a starter does and what the solenoid does and you'll figure out the problem ...or whack it with a tire iron
