1999 Mercury Grand Marquis. I dislike traction control. It's entirely too sensitive and makes me feel more out of control than without it. If I pull the ABS fuse under the hood, will this take TC with it?

Or will TC still be able to reduce my engine power? This gets particularly annoying if I'm trying to go up a hill in slippery conditions.

You have options, you can use a police PCM and that will get rid of the TC system but will also disable PATS.
You can also have it turned off in a tune.
