Hello Members - How do you test the fuel pressure without a valve on the fuel rail?
Next - If I remove the fuel pressure sensor and stick a hose in the rail and the other end in a container, how much fuel should come out when trying to start the car? Only small amounts (like a few ounces each time I crank) come out then it stops. Should the fuel pump continuously pump and stop when pressure builds? The fuel tank is full. I'm thinking this is the problem to my greater issue No spark. The cam & crank sensors were replaced.- Thanks in advance. Paul |

Hello - My issue turned out to be the previous owner(s) took out the P71 PCM and put in a crappy one. I had a guy in my area "flash" the PCM and got it going. I think the price I paid, $750, to get it running was high and should have bee $400 tops. I registered the car and drove it for a few weeks. The tranny blew and I sold it for $2k. I'm not a fan of the CV's and will stick with my TR6 and Jaguars. Good luck. |
