2002 Crown Vic (non-police). 4.6L V8, 140k. I've noticed that when I go around corners/make turns with my foot on the accelerator, I lose a bit of "oomph". If I immediately push on the pedal more, it doesn't really do anything. If I take my foot off the gas for just a split second and then push it again, I have my acceleration back. It only happens when I go around corners or am turning with my foot on the accelerator. The rest of the time it seems perfect. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

Fuel pressure regulator
Fuel filter - a somewhat clogged older filter can cause this symptom
Fuel pump
