So after hunting around I finally found a deal on a state trooper p71 (or is it the other p72?)
Have a few ideas other than the standard tint and possibly a deck/speakers
First and foremost I have been driving it for about 8 months, the front drivers side tire seems to have a negative camber and has worn out on the inside, is this the ball joints or alignment or what?
Rest of the tires are wearing out very evenly.
It has the black vinyl back seat which to me is the nicest option Ive seen in the cop cars.
I want to put two black leather Town car seats up front and if possible hook up the power at least for the driver, If I can do the passenger as well even better. Is this doable?
Also some Marauder/5 spoke mustang rims of some type for the summer and keep the steelies w/hubcaps for the winter. if I get same size rims and go maybe slightly wider tires will it mess with the speedo or anything?
Its a flex fuel and I have been running e85 for awhile as its nearly down to 1$ per gallon in my area.
Do i need certain spark plugs or anything else if I'm going to be running e85 most of the time? |

So the Police Cruiser is P71.
The Crown Victoria's (any Panther platform really) do support camber settings on the front wheels. The department may have had it set to a specific measurement or it may just need an alignment. A good alignment shop can do a check and tell you whats up.
Yes you can hook up the power seats but you may want to check out where the control is for the Towncar the Vic usually has them in the door. If they are on the seat it is even easier all you need is power really.
Usually no you are okay but the mustang rims are a bit different, check out crownvic.net there are a ton of wheel articles that can help you decide. The Marauder rims however are a direct swap as long as your Vic is 2003 or newer I believe. Wider tires will not affect the speedo unless they are also a taller profile on the rear tires. if they are taller then yes you will see issues.
Run E85 as much as you can if your car supports it! E85 is actually easier on your motor and will not cause as many detonation issues so the standard plugs should be great. Also you can boost the motor and be way more reliable on E85. |

Thanks for the detailed reply. The P71 I saw that had town car seats did have the switch on the side of the seats only thing was since the seats were so poofy you could barely fit your hand down the side but it was doable.
It seems like I cant just register at crownvic.net am I missing something? |

For Flex Fuel need Motorcraft AGSF-22F-M1 or sometimes referred to as FOSP-405 Gapped at .41-.47 or similar ..
My 2011 CV is also Flex but there is none to find in my area so I am pretty sure going to just use 87 E10 Regular and get the Hotter Motorcraft Plug AGSF-32N FOSP-493 Gapped at .52-.56 and just forget about using E85 ..
