Can't find my other thread posted here so starting another.

1999 CV cranks but won't start.
All fuses and relays good.
Fuel pump does not come on when key is turned on, but works if jumped through relay.
Everything works: lights, radio, fan, ect.
***When key is turned to start the Engine light does not come on****
***When I hook up an OB tester it reads ERROR***
Inspected the wiring harness under bumper and looks good.
Started when I sprayed starting fluid into intake.

When you jumped the relay, did the car start? it Just a thought. It could be the initialization wire in the PCM circuit or PCM itself.

The 99s have the fuel shutoff switch in the Trunk. If you triggered this at all that could be your issue, the switch is on the Drivers side of the trunk under the felt mat. The Red push button switch should be pressed in.

I did check the fuel inertia button and it's good.
When I jumped the fuel relay, pump worked but car did not start.
It did start couple times early on with starting fluid but now won't start.
It's got to be the PCM ya? Anyone know where to get another PCM? I'm in Hawaii.

Should have added the original stoppage of engine was due to a loose power wire going into the fuse box under the hood due to stripped nut. This was sparking randomly causing stoppage prior to completely killing engine. I repaired the stripped bolt/nut then had the no start condition in original post.

Thanks plstktnkr2 & curemode2002 for your responses!
